Gómez & Lozano was born from the vision of two lifelong friends, Rodrigo Gómez and Billy Lozano, who grew up in Baja and witnessed first-hand the transformation of Los Cabos into one of the world’s most coveted destinations.
Billy is excited to announce that he has recently become a part of The Agency’s Los Cabos Office, catering to the dynamic and diverse regions of Los Cabos. While his primary focus remains on the vibrant Los Cabos area, he takes pride in extending his services throughout Baja California Sur. With a deep connection to the Baja region, having been born and raised in Los Cabos, he brings a profound understanding of its evolution.
Growing up in Los Cabos has provided him with a firsthand perspective on the transformative changes in La Baja. This intimate knowledge, combined with a discerning eye for investment opportunities, positions him as a valuable resource for his clients. Beyond his role as a NAR member, he aspires to be a trusted consultant, attentive to the unique needs of clients seeking a second home, investment opportunities, or the perfect piece of land for their envisioned projects. His educational journey saw him studying Economics at la Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, with a stint in Lyon, France, specializing in Financial Economics. His professional trajectory commenced at the United Nations in New York, where he provided advisory services on economic and environmental matters. Subsequently, he transitioned into the tech industry with Strategy roles at Uber and Ecommerce Giant – Mercado Libre (Fintech focus), leading the Strategy & Planning team reporting directly to the Country Manager and acquiring skills in business strategy, negotiations, project management, and leadership.
The deliberate move into real estate was fueled by the desire to leverage the rich experiences garnered in his corporate career. The allure of various forms of investment, coupled with a steadfast belief in real estate’s growth, guided his decision to pursue this career. His motivation lies in assisting people in making life-changing decisions while fostering genuine connections with clients.
His involvement in real estate traces back to early exposure to developments and construction through his father’s contributions to building golf courses in Cabo. This early immersion, combined with natural curiosity, paved the way for his eventual entry into the real estate industry.
Beyond professional pursuits, he is an avid nature enthusiast, indulging in activities like surfing, hiking, scuba diving, football, and golf. His adventures are shared with his beloved Aussie, Mila. Actively participating in charitable initiatives, he has been involved with organizations like Child Fund Mexico and engages in beach cleanups and environmental preservation campaigns.

Born in Guadalajara to globe-trotting parents, Rodrigo’s childhood was anything but ordinary. He grew up hopping between Guadalajara, Los Cabos, Chapala, Queretaro, and even Sonoma, California—learning early on how to pack a suitcase in 15 minutes and be ready for the next adventure.
His most cherished memories are from Los Cabos: beach days, bonfire nights with friends, and camping under the stars. Thanks to a bilingual education from an early age, Rodrigo speaks English and Spanish fluently, effortlessly building friendships across cultures and borders.
While studying International Commerce at university in Queretaro, Rodrigo felt the call of home—Los Cabos—and returned to immerse himself in the family business. With an architect father and a designer mother, it was a natural fit. He dove into concept design, construction, and decorating luxury homes, developing a sharp eye for aesthetics, fine finishes, and timeless design.
But something was missing: someone to match extraordinary homes with the people who would love them. That’s when Rodrigo discovered his true passion—real estate—and joined The Agency Todos Santos.
Now based in San José del Cabo, Rodrigo works across all types of real estate—from homesites and vacation getaways to investment properties and family residences. Over the past few years, he has developed a strong specialization in high-end properties, representing luxury homes and exceptional estates throughout San José del Cabo and the greater Baja Sur region. With his design background and deep local knowledge, he brings a distinctive edge to every transaction—making the buying or selling experience as seamless and elevated as the properties themselves.
